I am a mother of 2 - soon to be 3. I am intending  to pursue certification and an associates'  degree in Medical Administrative Assisting/ Medical Billing and Coding. My daughter's father has passed away and the father's of my 2 boy's are not involved. I am not employed, previous college did not provide certification. Living with parent, no transportation of my own as well as no public transportation and no income.

Dear CC3: Off the top of my head, I don't have much help to offer other than: 1) you should consider applying for social security dependent benefits for your daughter who lost her father. If there is any problem w/father not signing birth certificate, you can obtain DNA paternity test from other family members. 2) There is a special camp which is provided free to children of certain ages (I think 7 - 18)who lost a parent or guardian. See:www.comfortzone camp.org On the link to the camp is also the provision for free life insurance for the existing parent or guardian between (?20 - 45? can't remember exact ages) to insure the child has college tuition paid for if guardian is deceased too. See: http://www.massmutual.com/mmfg /pdf/lifebridge_eligibility.pd f I will keep you in thought & prayer. Regards, Elaine
